Satin epoxy enamel
for metal and for cementitious floors as anti-dust coat,
formulated with epoxy-polyamide resins which give rise to a particularly hard and waterproof film and which make it suitable for painting metal products and concrete floors.
The product has good adhesion directly to metal after suitable cleaning and after the hardening times indicated in this data-sheet.
Particularly suitable for finishing metal items where good resistance to mineral oils, water, aliphatic hydrocarbons is required. When exposed to external weather, the product tends to chalk ( became more matt and with a dusty surface ), without losing its essential characteristics. the product has partially resistance to aromatic or strong solvents and strongly acidic or alkaline materials. Colourable in various shades with the addition of PPT 02 Series products . It is generally used for painting machine tools, carpentry in general and / or for building applications on concrete floors after pre-treatment.

Harden the KVES005 with the hardener CVP0227 at 25% by weight; subsequently thin it with DPV0137.
The thinning of the product is established at the time of application according to the application parameters present, recommended at 10-15% by weight.
The substrate must be perfectly clean, dry, degreased and free from contaminants;
It is recommended a first coat of a suitable primer.
DO NOT use the product at temperatures lower than 12-15 ° C. The substrate must have a temperature at least 3°C higher than the Dew Point.
Apply with a spray gun having a nozzle from 1.8 to 2.0 millimetres and with a pressure of 2 to 3 bar.

Keep it tightly sealed in its original container in a cool environment (between + 5°C and + 35°C) that is not subject to abrupt temperature excursions.
